Descrição:Delparantag is a heparin-mimetic that is used to treat inflammatory diseases and thrombocytopenia. It has been shown to be effective in vivo and in vitro models of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia. Delparantag inhibits the activation of platelets by binding to the platelet factor 4 (PF4) receptor, which prevents the binding of PF4 to its receptor on the surface of platelets. This results in a reduction in aggregation and clot formation, as well as inhibiting inflammation. Delparantag has also been shown to be effective for treating bowel disease by reducing inflammation, with clinical studies showing that it reduced bowel movements from 12 per day to four per day.
