• Descrição: A novel, practical and efficient method for the preparation of (R)-1-[(S)-2-(diphenylphosphino)ferrocenyl]ethyldi-tert-butylphosphine is described. The asymmetric synthesis of ketones with high enantiomeric excess was achieved using this ligand in a one-pot, two-step procedure. The homogeneous catalytic reduction of nitriles to primary amines was also demonstrated. This methodology is applicable to the preparation of other chiral phosphines and phosphine derivatives.
