Descrição:
Decloxizine is a new drug developed for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. The molecule has been designed to provide a high level of brain penetration and to be active when taken orally, while also having a long-term effect on the patient. Decloxizine is an inhibitor of monoamine oxidase type B, which is involved in the metabolism of dopamine and serotonin. Decloxizine has shown promise in animal models and can be used as a strategy for reducing emissions from diesel engines.
