2,6-Dichlorobenzaldehyde is a nucleophilic compound that has the ability to form hydrogen bonds. The 2,6-dichlorobenzaldehyde molecule contains two chiral centers that give rise to four stereoisomers. X-ray diffraction data shows that this molecule exists as a mixture of these four isomers.
