Descrição:2,4-Dinitrofluorobenzene is a prodrug that is converted to the active form 2,4-dinitrophenol in vivo. It has been shown to have strong antimicrobial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The matrix effect, which refers to the difference in solubility of a drug in different parts of the gastrointestinal tract, may affect its absorption and bioavailability. The reactive nature of 2,4-dinitrofluorobenzene may also lead to chemical reactions with other compounds in the digestive tract. This drug has been shown to be effective for bowel disease caused by allergy as well as for allergic symptoms such as urticaria and angioedema. In animal models, this drug has shown antitumor response and sesquiterpene lactone inhibitory effects on tumor cells.
