• Descrição: Diethyl isopropylmalonate (DIM) is an aromatic hydrocarbon that has been shown to have anticancer activity in animal models. It has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of prostaglandins and reduce oxidative stress. DIM has been used as a solid catalyst for the hydrogenation of polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as linoleic acid and linolenic acid, in order to make them more resistant to oxidation.
