2,5-Dichlorobenzothiazole is an effective fungicide that can be used to control diseases of plants caused by fungi such as Alternaria alternata, Botrytis cinerea, Cercospora beticola, Dactylium dendroides, Fusarium oxysporum and Phoma sp.
