Informação sobre produto
2,5-Difluorophenylboronic acid is a boronate ester that is used as an ancillary ligand in telomerase. It binds to the spindle protein and inhibits cell proliferation by inhibiting the formation of disaccharides. 2,5-Difluorophenylboronic acid has been shown to inhibit human ovarian carcinoma cells by binding to their surface amide groups and can be used as a sensor for unsymmetrical monosubstituted amides. It has also been shown to bind to kinesin, which is involved in the transport of proteins along microtubules during mitosis. This compound may be useful for cancer treatment due to its affinity for carcinoma cells.
