DIethoxy(3-glycIdyloxypropyl)methylsIlane is an inorganic compound that inhibits the corrosion of metal surfaces, such as iron and steel. It has been shown to be a potent corrosion inhibitor for metals, including aluminum, copper, and stainless steel. DIethoxy(3-glycIdyloxypropyl)methylsIlane is stable at temperatures up to 400 °C and is water resistant. This compound also has a positive effect on the adhesion of polyurethane coatings.
