Descrição:5,7-Dichloro-8-hydroxyquinaldine is an antimicrobial agent that can be used to treat infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria. It has been shown to have a broad spectrum of activity against both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. 5,7-Dichloro-8-hydroxyquinaldine is active against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Enterococci species. The drug has been shown to be effective in treating tissue infections in women with menstrual blood flow due to its anti-inflammatory properties. This drug is not absorbed well into the body via oral administration and is not widely available outside of China.
