Delapril is a blood pressure medication that can be used to treat hypertension. Delapril is an inhibitor of the enzyme PCSK9, which prevents the body from removing LDL cholesterol from the bloodstream. This medication also has a synergic effect with other anti-hypertensive medications and can be used to treat metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus and bowel disease. Delapril has been shown to have a low toxicity in animals, and it does not affect blood clotting or cause changes in red or white blood cells.
