Descrição:(R)-1,3-Decanediol is a synthetic chemical that has the same structural formula as the natural amino acid glycine. It is used in the production of amides or deionized water. The alkynyl group in the molecule can be oxidized by hydrochloric acid to a sulfonic acid which has an alkylthio group. The nitrogen atoms are voltage-gated sodium channels that regulate cell membrane potentials and transmit nerve impulses. (R)-1,3-Decanediol can also act as a substrate for microprocessors with binding sites.
