Di-n-propylglycine (DIPG) is a peptide that has been shown to have amphipathic properties. It has been shown to have chemotactic activity and to increase the rate of insulin sensitivity in mice. DIPG can be synthesized by solid-phase synthesis, which is a technique used for the chemical synthesis of peptides and proteins. This molecule has intramolecular hydrogen bonds as well as stable complexes with other molecules. The conformational properties of DIPG are also important in its ability to bind to insulin receptors, which may lead to increased insulin sensitivity.
