Informação sobre produto
6,8-Dichloro-2H-chromene-3-carbaldehyde is a chiral compound that can be used in organic synthesis. It has been shown to react with diammonium hydrogen phosphate to produce the corresponding 4-(6,8 dichloro-2H-chromenyl)benzoic acid. The product is made by reacting the carbonyl group of salicylaldehyde with hydrogen phosphate. This reaction is hetero-diels alder and has an efficiency of about 70%. 6,8 dichloro 2H chromene 3 carbaldehyde crystallizes in a racemic form with two molecules of water. 6,8 dichloro 2H chromene 3 carbaldehyde has six constants and two resonance structures. When it reacts with hydrogen phosphate, it forms achiral compounds that are not chiral.
