• Descrição: 2-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)acetic acid (DMPA) is a potent inhibitor of epidermal growth. It blocks the production of epidermal growth factor, which is a bioactive molecule that is involved in the biosynthesis of epidermal cells. DMPA also inhibits the formation of new blood vessels, which may be due to its ability to bind to silicon and alcaptonuria. DMPA has been shown to have an effect on platelet-derived growth factor and solid-phase synthesis. This drug also binds to factor receptor tyrosine kinase and has been shown to inhibit the growth of certain tumor cells.
