Informação sobre produto
(+)-Dibenzoyl-L-tartaric anhydride is a crystallographic reagent that is used for the preparation of optically active phosphonic acid, phosphite, and triflate. (+)-Dibenzoyl-L-tartaric anhydride can be prepared by reacting (±)-DL-tartaric acid with dibenzoyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine. Preparations of racemates and enantiomers are also possible using this method. The diastereomer can be obtained by an asymmetric synthesis process. Racemic mixtures can also be resolved into their respective enantiomers by methods such as chromatography or recrystallization.
