Dibenzo[g,p]chrysene is an aromatic hydrocarbon that has a fluorescence property. It contains two methoxy groups and can be synthesized from the reaction of tetranuclear complexes with trifluoroacetic acid. Dibenzo[g,p]chrysene is also known as BPC for short. This molecule has been studied extensively in order to determine its transport properties between biological membranes, photophysical properties, and bifluorenylidene derivatives. The chemical structures of dibenzo[g,p]chrysene are macrocyclic.
