4,5-Difluorophthalonitrile (DFP) is a synthetic compound that belongs to the phenyl group. This reaction is accompanied by a change in its optical properties, such as fluorescence and color. DFP is chemically stable because it does not react with air, water, or strong acids. It has been shown that DFP interacts with dimethylamine through hydrogen bonding.
