Descrição:1,10-Diaminodecane is a monoclonal antibody that targets DNA duplexes. It does not bind to single-stranded DNA or RNA and can be used for the prevention of bacterial infection. 1,10-Diaminodecane inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to their cell membranes and inhibiting protein synthesis. This drug also has an effect on mitochondrial membrane potential and whole-cell recordings in E coli. 1,10-Diaminodecane binds to metal hydroxides, such as aluminum hydroxide, copper hydroxide, and zinc hydroxide. The hydrogen bonding interactions between the amine group of 1,10-diaminodecane and the carboxylate group of the metal ion are strong enough to prevent water molecules from entering into this space and stabilizing the complex. This prevents bacterial cells from growing on these surfaces.
