Informação sobre produto
- Dimethyl(trifluoromethyl)vinylsilane
- Silane, ethenyldimethyl(trifluoromethyl)-
Dimethyl(trifluoromethyl)vinylsilane is a reactive, non-polar monomer that can be used to introduce a carboxymethyl group onto cellulose. This reaction is catalyzed by 1-allylpiperazine (1AP) in the presence of mercaptan, deionized water, and allylmagnesium chloride. Cellulose reacts with the monomer at room temperature to form carboxymethyl cellulose. The resulting product has a low degree of reactivity and an even distribution of functional groups on the surface of the cellulose chain.
The following are some applications for Dimethyl(trifluoromethyl)vinylsilane:
-Cellulose esterification reactions
-Cellulose etherification reactions
-Cellulose acetate production
-Reactive printable coatings
