5-Ethyl-2-hydroxybenzenecarbaldehyde is an organic compound that has a molecular weight of 176.23 and a melting point of 160 degrees Celsius. This chemical has been shown to have anticancer activity by inhibiting the production of DNA and RNA. 5-Ethyl-2-hydroxybenzenecarbaldehyde also induces apoptosis in human cancer cells through caspase activation.
