Descrição:2-(Ethylthio)-1H-benzimidazole is a pro-inflammatory factor that is structurally similar to benzoic acid. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of glycogen synthase kinase 3β, which is an enzyme that regulates the synthesis of glycogen. 2-(Ethylthio)-1H-benzimidazole also inhibits protein synthesis in the liver and kidney cells. This compound has been shown to be effective against chronic kidney disease and allergic reactions. Furthermore, it has antioxidative properties as well as glucuronide conjugate formation.
