Descrição:
4-Ethylanisole is a functional group that is derived from the oxidation of anisole. It is used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of drugs and other bioactive molecules. 4-Ethylanisole also has inhibitory effects against tumour cells, which may be due to its ability to induce apoptosis and cell cycle arrest. The inhibition of cancer cells by 4-ethylanisole is thought to be due to its ability to generate reactive oxygen species. This molecule also has the potential for use as an antitumor agent because it contains methoxy groups, which are able to react with proteins or amino acids in the body.
