N-Ethylcyclohexylamine is a chiral compound that has inhibitory properties. It can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. The molecular structure of N-Ethylcyclohexylamine contains a carbonyl group, a hydroxyl group, and an ethylene diamine. These functional groups lead to its fluorescence measurement and hydrogen bond interactions. N-Ethylcyclohexylamine also contains nitrogen atoms that are acylated with carbon disulphide to form amines. This reaction results in the formation of redox potentials that can be measured using gravimetric analysis.
