Descrição:Ethyl 2-methoxyacetate is an organic compound that is a derivative of ethylene diamine. The kinetics of this reaction have been studied in detail and it has been found that the formation of ethyl 2-methoxyacetate is highly dependent on temperature and pressure, with the rate increasing as temperature increases. This product is typically used for chemical reactions such as esterification, saponification, oxidation, and reduction. Isolated yields are typically high for this product, with a sample preparation time of less than one hour. Ethyl 2-methoxyacetate has a hydroxyl group that can react with amines to form amides or imides. It also reacts with methyl ethyl ketone to produce methyl 3-hydroxypropanoate.
