Informação sobre produto
- Acetic Acid, 2-Ethoxy-, Hydrazide
Ethoxyacetohydrazide is a tranquilizer that binds to the metabotropic glutamate receptor, which is a subtype of glutamate receptor. It is used in animals to control muscle spasms, and has been shown to be effective in treating symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease. Ethoxyacetohydrazide is also used as an allosteric modulator at other receptors, including the alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid (AMPA) receptors and kainate receptors. The drug's effects on these receptors are due to its c1-6 alkyl group, which confers high affinity for these sites. The triazole derivative of ethoxyacetohydrazide has been shown to be a potent depressant.
