Erbium triiodide is an inorganic compound that contains erbium, neodymium, and dysprosium. It is a ternary rare earth element that has a chemical formula of ErI3. The ionic radius for Er3+ is 0.814 Å and the ionic radius for I- is 0.906 Å. The melting point of Er3+ is 884°C and the melting point of I- is 762°C.
