This product is a hydrolysis product of the drug N-(4-(2-Fluorobenzoyl)-1,3-Dimethyl-1H-Pyrazol-5-Yl)-2-((3-(2-Methyl-Piperidin-1-Yl)Propyl)Amino)-Acetamide (Z)-2-Butenedioate (1:1). The hydrolysis product is an antiinfective agent that inhibits the growth of microorganisms by interfering with their protein synthesis. It binds to bacterial 16S ribosomal RNA and inhibits protein synthesis, leading to cell death by inhibiting the production of proteins vital for cell division. The hydrolysis product also has antimalarial properties.
