Informação sobre produto
- 2-Thiophenecarboxylic Acid, 5-Fluoro-
5-Fluorothiophene-2-carboxylic acid is a fluorinated derivative of thiophene that can be synthesized from benzyl, sulfolane, and tetraphenylphosphonium. It is an efficient hydrogenolysis catalyst for the production of potassium fluoride. 5-Fluorothiophene-2-carboxylic acid has been shown to be more efficient than other catalysts for hydrogenolysis reactions because it does not form a covalent bond with the substrate. The catalytic activity of 5-fluorothiophene-2-carboxylic acid has been demonstrated in the production of potassium fluoride from hydrogen and potassium chloride.
