2-Fluoroquinoline-3-boronic acid is a boronic ester that is used in the Suzuki coupling reaction. It can be used to synthesize aconitane derivatives, which have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. 2-Fluoroquinoline-3-boronic acid also has been shown to react with phenylboronic acid and esters to form boronic esters.
