5-(2-Furyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol is a functional theory that has been studied in bioassay results. It is a methyl derivative of the thiourea compound and can be used to inhibit the reductoisomerase enzyme. 5-(2-Furyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol has been shown to have inhibitory activity against hydrogen bond formation. This agent also has tautomeric equilibrium properties and an evaporation yield of 60%. The elemental analysis yields are C:N:H:O:S=53.6:14.5:9.7:10.8:55.6%.
