Descrição:
3-Fluoroisonicotinic acid is a potent inhibitor of the protein kinase C (PKC) and isonicotinic acid receptor (IAR) that blocks PKC and IAR activation. It has been shown to inhibit cryptococcus neoformans growth in vitro and has been tested for its antimycobacterial activity. 3-Fluoroisonicotinic acid also inhibits tumor vasculature by inhibiting the uptake of growth factors, and has been shown to be effective against multidrug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
