Descrição:Fluanisone is a fatty acid with anti-inflammatory properties that has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α and IL-1β. Fluanisone has also been found to have an analgesic effect on animals anesthetized with isoflurane. The compound binds to κ-opioid receptors in the brain, leading to a decrease in the release of neurotransmitters such as dopamine and glutamate. Fluanisone has also been shown to stimulate the release of growth factors from cells in culture. This effect may be due to its ability to inhibit Toll-like receptor 4, which plays a role in inflammation.
