Fluoroglycofen is an herbicide that inhibits the growth of plants by blocking photosynthesis. It has been reported to have synergistic effects with other herbicides such as celastrus angulatus, n-dimethyl formamide and monoclonal antibody. Fluoroglycofen also has a high salt tolerance and can be used for wastewater treatment. The biochemical properties of this compound are not well studied, but it has shown activity against bacterial strains such as type strain and the enzyme activities of diphenyl ether and photosynthetic pigments. Fluoroglycofen is a selective herbicide that can only be used on certain plants, while it is resistant to most bacteria tested.
