Descrição:
N-alpha-Fmoc-Ndelta-methyltrityl-L-Ornithine ((NαFmoc-NδMeTyr)L-ORN) is an amino acid analogue of L-ornithine that is used in organic chemistry. It has been shown to be a useful reagent for the guanidinylation of amines, thiols, and alcohols. NαFmoc-NδMeTyr can also be used as a building block for peptide synthesis. The compound may be deprotected by treatment with trifluoroacetic acid or hydrochloric acid to form the corresponding free amino acid. NαFmoc-NδMeTyr can also be used as a starting material for the synthesis of analogues with different side chains, such as CγH, CγD, and CγE.
