Descrição:9-Fluorenone-1-carboxylic Acid (9FCA) is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of row transition metals. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria by binding to protocatechuic acid, which is an intermediate in the biosynthesis of aromatic compounds. 9FCA also inhibits bacterial growth by interacting with 2-benzoylbenzoic acid, which is an intermediate in the synthesis of nucleic acids. It can bind to DNA and cause apoptosis in cancer cells. 9FCA prevents replication through interaction with the pBR322 plasmid dna, inhibiting the transcription process and preventing protein synthesis. The anticancer activity of this compound may be due to its ability to inhibit proliferation of tumor cells by inducing apoptosis or cell death.
