Descrição:
2-Fluorobenzotrichloride is a hydrophobic and targetable drug that binds to the membrane of cancer cells, which are then selectively destroyed. A reconstituted form of 2-fluorobenzotrichloride can be injected into the target tissue by iontophoresis. This drug has been shown to be effective in treating a number of types of cancer and can be used for diagnostic purposes. The monolayers or bioactive agents can be implanted onto a variety of devices such as stents, catheters, prosthetic joints, or heart valves.
