Informação sobre produto
- Acetic acid, 2-(2-fluorophenoxy)-
2-Fluorophenoxyacetic Acid is a chemical compound that inhibits axonal growth and is active in transfection experiments. It has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of collagens, proteins, and other tissues. 2-Fluorophenoxyacetic Acid can also affect the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for DNA sequences by inhibiting DNA synthesis. This drug has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in animal models of collagen diseases such as arthritis. 2-Fluorophenoxyacetic Acid is also capable of inhibiting collagen fibrils and preventing the formation of these fibers. The mechanism behind this effect may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of a growth factor called fibroblast growth factor-β1 (FGF-β1).
