Fluoroacetic acid 2-fluoroethyl ester is a biologically active compound that is used in pest control. The biological properties of fluoroacetic acid 2-fluoroethyl ester are due to its inhibitory effect on ALDH, which leads to an accumulation of acetaldehyde and aldehydes in cells.
