5-(4-Fluorophenyl)-4-Methyl-4H-1,2,4-Triazole-3-Thiol (FPMTT) is a chemical compound that has been used in radiation biology and molecular biology. This compound has been used as a radiation dosimeter to measure the effects of ionizing radiation on living cells. It has also been used to determine the parameters of radiation such as wavelength, intensity, and dose. The powder form of this compound is colourless but when it is dissolved in water it becomes colourless and slightly viscous. FPMTT has a monoclinic crystal structure with an isotropic measurement.
