4-(4-Fluoro-2-methyl-1H-indol-5-yloxy)-6-methoxyquinazolin-7-ol is a synthetic alkylating agent that has been shown to be effective against cell lines that are resistant to cediranib, an antiangiogenic drug, and AZD2171, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It binds to the DNA of cancer cells and forms intramolecular bonds with the phenolic group on the molecule.
