(3S,4R)-3-((Benzo[D][1,3]dioxol-5-yloxy)methyl)-4-(4-fluorophenyl)piperidine hydrochloride is a potent inhibitor of kinase proteins in humans. It is an analog of tumor inhibitors that induce apoptosis in cancer cells. This compound has been shown to be a selective inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and can be used as an anticancer drug. It has been tested on Chinese hamster ovary cells and has demonstrated strong inhibition of CDK activity. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and promote apoptosis in vitro.
