• Descrição: GW7647 is an inhibitor molecule that inhibits the activity of PPARα, a nuclear receptor that regulates lipid metabolism and is involved in the development of autoimmune diseases and bowel disease. GW7647 has been shown to reduce colon adenocarcinoma in mice. GW7647 also binds to other proteins, including lipases, proteases, and kinases. The inhibition of these enzymes leads to a reduction in energy metabolism and transcriptional regulation. GW7647 has been shown to inhibit protein synthesis by binding to the ribosome at the peptidyl transferase center. It also binds to polymerase chain reaction (PCR) primers for DNA replication and transcriptional regulatory proteins such as p38 MAPKs and CREB-binding protein (CBP).
