1-(1,1,2,2,3,3,3-Heptafluoropropyl-propane-2-ylamino)-3-Naphthalen-1-yloxypropan-2-ol hydroiodide is a drug that stabilizes the heart by inhibiting fibrillation. It has been shown to be safe and effective in treating ventricular fibrillation. The potency of this drug is dose dependent with significant dose dependent effects at higher concentrations levels. This drug can be used to treat ventricular arrhythmias and cardiac arrest. 1-(1,1,2,2,3,3,3-Heptafluoropropylpropane-2-ylamino)-3Naphthalen-1yloxypropan 2ol hydroiodide binds to β adrenergic receptors in the heart cells and blocks the binding of adrenaline. This prevents the stimulation of beta adrenergic receptors and reduces heart rate
