Hexahydro-4-[3-[2-(trifluoromethyl)-10H-phenothiazin-10-yl]propyl]-1H-1,4-diazepine-1-ethanol dihydrochloride (HETD) is a gamma aminobutyric acid analogue that is used as an experimental drug. It has been shown to have proliferative activity in vitro, and it also inhibits the growth of cancer cells. HETD binds to the alcohol group of phosphorylated proteins and can be used for conjugation with other molecules. It has been shown to inhibit microsphere formation in vitro and is also effective against cancer cells in vivo. The drug is synthesized by reacting hexahydro-4-(3-(2-(trifluoromethyl)-10H-phenothiazin-10-yl)propyl)-1H-1,4-diazepine with ethanolamine
