Descrição:Hydrin 2 is a member of the family of peptide hormones that are involved in the regulation of blood pressure. It is synthesized from two amino acids, H-Cys-Tyr-Ile-Gln-Asn-Cys-Pro-Arg-Gly-Gly-. Hydrin 2 has been shown to have biological properties that are similar to those of angiotensin II and vasopressin. This peptide hormone is produced as a result of the action of hydrochloric acid on the precursor peptide, which is synthesized in the ventral and apical regions of the bladder. The reaction product is soluble in water and has been shown to be effective at treating wastewater.
