Descrição

Hydroxy iloperidone is a novel non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that has been shown to have high therapeutic potential in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and reduces inflammation by inhibiting COX-2 enzyme activity, which is responsible for the production of prostaglandins. Hydroxy iloperidone has been shown to be effective in preventing colonoscopies induced colitis in Sprague Dawley rats. This drug also has a molecular weight of 472.25 g/mol and a biological function of reducing inflammation and pain.
