8-Hydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2-Quinolinone is a natural product that has been shown to have cardiovascular and anti-cancer properties. It has been shown to be effective against hepg2 cells in an animal experiment. The mechanism of action of 8OHQN is not completely understood, but it is thought to work by preventing the production of angiotensin II and consequently reducing blood pressure. This drug also has anti-cancer properties and is known to inhibit cancer cell growth in vitro. 8OHQN has also been shown to be a potent inhibitor of coronary heart disease in humans.
