Descrição:Hexyl Acetoacetate is a fatty alcohol with a hydroxyl group, which can be used as a polymerization initiator. Hexyl Acetoacetate has functional groups that can be cross-linked to form polymers and copolymers. It can also react with sulfamic acid and tannins to form polyvinyl pyrrolidone. This chemical's antibacterial activity is due to the carboxylic acid group on its molecule. Hexyl Acetoacetate has an average particle diameter of 25 nm, and has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
