Descrição:Hexaphenyldisiloxane is a solid catalyst that can be used in the cross-linking of organic compounds. Hexaphenyldisiloxane is an organosilicon compound, composed of a hexaphenyl and a siloxane group. Hexaphenyldisiloxane can be used in nucleophilic attack to form new bonds with other molecules. The reaction mechanism for this process is initiated by the formation of an alkynyl group and a hydroxy group on one molecule and the generation of a fluorine atom on another molecule. This then leads to the addition of the two molecules, forming a covalent bond between them. Hexaphenyldisiloxane can also be used as an activator in metathesis reactions, which are reactions where two different functional groups react together to form new bonds. Hydrochloric acid can be used as a catalyst for this reaction.
